Natural Language Processing + Artificial Intelligence: The Formula for Fintech Growth & Customer Satisfaction?

The key for fintech growth is global expansion. The critical path for global expansion is to have procedures and technologies in place to serve customers in any language and thereby guarantee customer satisfaction and maintain securities compliance.

According to Common Sense Advisory, almost 87% of consumers who don’t speak English won’t even consider buying from an English website, and 74% of customers are more likely to purchase again from the same company if the aftersales care is in their own language.

Attend this presentation to learn:
  • AI NLP: what it is and isn’t, and how you can leverage it in your business.
  • Proven solutions to service and support global customers.
  • Technology to enhance securities compliance while going global.

Assessing the Maturity of Digital Communications Privacy and Compliance in Fintech & Financial Services
Protecting sensitive content communications is a critical undertaking for fintechs and financial firms. Customer financial records must be protected, industry compliance standards must be met and demonstrated, and financial records must be shared between financial institutions.

A new report that measures the maturity of sensitive content communications with third parties shows that while maturity levels vary based on communications channel (e.g., email, file sharing, file transfer, etc.), significant gaps exist when it comes to the sharing and transfer of confidential data within financial firms, with their customers, and between institutions. This presentation will examine some key takeaways from the report and identify what financial organizations can do to achieve and demonstrate compliance while reducing cyber risks.

What Banks Can Learn from Fintechs to Maximize Growth in the Digital Era

The pandemic accelerated the digital transformation across all types of industries, and there is perhaps no fiercer competition than that between banks and fintech companies. As fintech services continue to rise in prominence, incumbent banks are increasingly compelled to provide innovative products and services to customers to remain competitive in the digital era.

As a former entrepreneur and self-proclaimed “OG of fintech” with extensive experience incubating new products and businesses at notable global banks, including Citi and JPMorgan Chase, Alex offers a unique perspective to help financial institutions create new offerings and differentiate their business from its peer set. He possesses vast expertise on the topics of retail banking, wealth management, digital growth distribution, new monetization and engagement strategies.

At the U.S. Fintech Symposium, Alex will share his insights on the lessons that banks can draw from fintechs, such as developing products/services that are more directly aimed at the customer’s needs, leveraging API and partnership strategies, how nontraditional business models can generate further growth, and how banks can better foster an overall culture of innovation. He can also share advice and common pitfalls he’s learned from working with entrepreneurs in Citi Ventures’ D10X program, which incubates new products and businesses designed to generate new, organic growth for Citi.

How Web3 will Either Accelerate or Disrupt Traditional Financial Services Business Models

The traditional financial sector is being disrupted in many ways. Everything from banking, to payments, mortgages, and even insurance. What opportunities are there for fintechs to bridge the current financial system from Web 2 to Web 2.5 or Web 3?

Financial institutions are starting to announce that they are building a platform for interoperability between stablecoins and CBDCs. What could make stablecoins and CBDCs and other forms of crypto like Bitcoin, even more interesting is that they may serve as a catalyst for infrastructure inversion, in which traditional applications from the old Web2 and fiat world start to move to the new Web3 blockchain world. How a Customer-centric Strategy Can Increase ROI for Fintech & Financial Services

Financial services, banking and fintech organizations continuously face unique challenges in delivering the best customer experience (CX), all while staying compliant with critical industry regulations.

Driving positive customer experience is easy to say – but incredibly challenging to realize. Orienting your fintech organization around the customer requires you to not only understand the customer – but to empower every member of your customer-facing team to deliver the best possible experience. And that requires you to also deliver the best possible employee experience.

In this session, Jeff Gallino, CTO & Founder of CallMiner will focus on the importance of delivering the best customer experience, what other fintech organizations are doing to connect the dots between customer experience (CX) and employee experience (EX) and how to use this synergy to drive ROI.

How Innovative Biometric Solutions Can Help Both Physical & Digital Banks

As Financial Institutions modernize their remote onboarding and online authentication methods, making them more secure and user-friendly (a trend further spurred by the recent pandemic), many realize they are left with outdated customer authentication systems in their physical premises. Consequently, identity fraud and impersonation occurring within the space that they instinctively call “home” can certainly represent a source of concern.

Most of us instinctively realize that biometrics technology offers an obvious response to these challenges, capable of joining convenience and security at the highest levels… but can it just be imposed on the customer base, or is it a matter of ensuring a smooth transition from previously used authentication methods, which walk-in customers are already familiar with? Can it also be a matter of dealing with scepticism and reluctancy about a biometric scan occurring in a physical space – when perhaps the very same customers unlock their phone with their finger dozens of times a day, or dash though airports using Clear?

Francesco would like to touch on these topics with you, including a final question: what about neo-banks, who generally do not need traditional branches?
